Milford on Sea Youth Football Club
teams at present play in the Bournemouth Youth
Football League which is a football association
affiliated league and runs league matches and cup
matches throughout the season for all ages of youth
football.
To play in competitive matches, the
Club will sign up each individual player as a
member of the Bournemouth Youth Football League and
once signed up there is a limit as to when and how
many of the players can move to any other club.
This means that there is a commitment to
Milford on Sea Youth Football Club once you are
signed up.
To sign up for the League, you will
need to fill in one of the league forms and provide
a copy of the player's birth certificate.
Players cannot play in the team at all until this
is done and new members of the Club must note that
this will take 10 - 14 days to achieve.
There is a good deal of commitment
to play in the team as there are between 25 - 30
games in a season plus any friendlies or
tournaments that are arranged by each team's coach.
Games are played alternately at home, Barnes
Lane Recreation Ground, and away.
Bournemouth Youth Football League does range across
to Poole and at Milford on Sea we are on the
eastern extremities of the League so there will be
some travelling necessary every other week,
however, it could be a very local game such as
Sway, Hordle or Everton.
